ZZ Plant (Zamia)

Zamioculcas zamiifolia is an acaulescent evergreen plant that generally grows to 3 feet height with gorgeous, pinnately compound leaves rising up from its rhizomes. Every leaf has six eight pairs of elliptic, shiny green leaflets (to 6 feet long). Blossoms appear on adult plants. The flower shape includes a spadix (erect spike of several small creamy-white flowers) framed by a sheath-like green spathe.
