Description

Philodendron requires bright indirect light however it can grow properly in the full shade too. Outdoors, Philodendron requires partial daylight. Direct daylight can burn your plant.

Use a very good fertilizer every few weeks in summers. While repotting provides rich manure and cow dung.

Report Philodendron Xanadu yearly, or when the roots begin growing out of the current pot. Choose a pot barely larger than the older pot while repotting.

Philodendrons can be simply propagated through stem cuttings, air layering, or through offset.

Some of the issues faced by these plants are:

• Philodendron leaves turning yellow and drooping is an indication of overwatering. Water the plant less often to correct this problem.
• Inadequate light results in stunning growth of the Philodendron. Place the plant where it gets bright indirect light.
• If Xanadu isn’t getting sufficient water, the leaves begin curling. It can also occur because of overwatering which will drown the roots.

Plants growing in containers require extra fertilizing than those in the ground. The more you water, the more rapidly you flush the nutrients out of the soil.
