Description

Aloes grow perfectly in shaded places. Three to four hours of daylight is sufficient for the proper growth of your Aloe. Although Aloe Vera can tolerate complete daylight, grow your aloe below some shade for better growth. The Aloe plant flourishes in well-drained, sandy loam soil. At the time of planting, add a very good quantity of cow dung manure or compost to the potting soil.

Report Aloe Vera once a year. This will ensure that Aloe receives clean soil and enough room to grow.

With time pot receives crowded with infant aloes that are known as Pups. For propagation cut off these pups from the mother plant and keep them in a specific pot. Aloe can also be propagated through leaf cuttings and suckers.

Some of the issues faced by these plants are:
  • Overwatering or under watering generates the yellowing of the Aloe Vera plant.
  • Overwatering can be a reason for the drooping of the Aloe Vera plant. Water the plant much less often to resolve this problem.
  • If your Aloe Plant is absolutely mushy it is due to overwatering. Water your plant much less often to prevent your aloe leaves from turning mushy.
