Duxprim is a combination of Sulphamethoxazole and Trimethoprim which have exhibited a high level of synergism in fighting bacterial diseases as a bactericidal. Distinct broad spectrum activity is achieved because of the combination resulting in effective treatment of many Livestock and Poultry diseases. It’s a water dispersible powder, potentiated broad spectrum bactericidal antimicrobial for poultry and Livestock.

Description

Composition:

Trimethoprim I.P.           : 2.0% W/W
Sulphamethoxazole I.P.  :10.0% W/W

Indications:

Duxprim is effective against most of the gram positive and gram negative bacterial infections of Poultry and Livestock.

Poultry:
Infectious coryza, enteritis, bacillary white diarrhoea, blue comb, coli septicemia, coccidiosis with mixed bacterial infections, early chick mortality, secondary bacterial infections associated with viral infections.

Cattle, Horses and Pigs:
Respiratory infections, Haemorrhagic septicemia, streptococcal and staphylococcal infections.

Sheep and Goats:
Respiratory infections, enteritis, pneumonia in lambs, secondary bacterial infections in viral infections.
