Monstera Deliciosa is a big, tropical plant, popularly known as the “Swiss Cheese Plant” which has remarkably perforated leaves and a bright green color that is reminiscent of its local forest environment.

Description

It needs indirect light. If leaves on adult plants grow without holes or cuts, provide the plant more light.

Fertilize every two weeks with a reasonable fluid or water-dissolvable compost weakened significantly from spring through fall Feed month to month in winter.

Water thoroughly and let the top inch of the soil dry out between watering. Keep the soil moderately wet in winter. Yellowing lower leaves are normally an indication of overwatering. Give good drainage.

Proliferation can be done by taking growing tip cuttings of an adult plant in spring and embedding them into a wet peat moss-based potting mix.

    I got the plant after a transit of 5 or 6 days so i was worried that it will be in bad condition but to my surprise the plant was in perfect condition. The plant was medium size with 2 big leaf and 2 small leaf. well packed and the soil was also moist. I love it. thank you!
