GasteriaVerrucosa is very popular among the succulents and is an odd-looking plant with two-ranked, dull-green, leaves thickly roughened with small, pearly-white excrescences and with fluted upper surfaces. It is perhaps the best-known example of a Gasteria species with very rough leaves. Leaves can be up to 6 inches long, 1-2 inches wide at the base.

Description

The plant ensures lower light conditions than many other succulents do, making it a good option for an indoor plant. Planting is should be done in the spring and that’s the best, though you usually can start them as indoor plants at any point. Gasteria is a slow-growing plant, and most varieties stay compact.

These plants prefer bright light but not the punitive sun. Keep them from warm afternoon sunlight.

These plants don’t require much water. Let the soil completely dry out between waterings. If the plant catches rainfall outdoors, typically no extra watering will be required.
