Maidenhair Fern is part of the Adiantum genus that contains over 200 varieties of ferns grown around the world. Maidenhair ferns have gentle fan-shaped leaf parts, normally crowded on wiry black stems. In addition to being a popular indoor plant, maidenhair fern can also be found in nature, growing in places where other plants normally don’t, like on rock walls and in between rock cracks where the humidity from water seepage keeps them alive.

Description

The most significant environmental aspect when it comes to growing this fern with success is moisture—it flourishes on dampness and requires a lot to survive, which can sometimes be difficult to succeed in indoor situations. Still, with suitable growing conditions, maidenhair ferns can be an exciting and gorgeous addition to any indoor plant collection.

Evade punitive light or direct rays, as the gentle leaves of the maidenhair fern, can injury very easily.

Place the fern in a plastic pot with holes, then keep the plastic pot in a more beautiful outer pot if you desire. This way, you can easily monitor the humidity levels in the plastic pot, and the drainage holes will stop the soil from becoming too damp.
