Echinodorus Cordifolius, also known as Creeping Burhead is a large marsh plant found in eastern North and South America. It is found in lakes, ponds, ditches and swamps. Echinodorus cordifolius can grow underwater for some time and develop short-stalked leaves. However, under favourable conditions, long-stalked and broad heart-shaped celestial leaves will appear.

Description

The plant regularly develops long inflorescences with white flowers and adventurous plants. The name “Creeping Burhead” is associated with the fact that the old inflorescences with developing young plants lie on the ground. Its wavy, light green leaves are very decorative. Unlike other round-leafed varieties of the species, Echinodorus cordifolius fluorescents are less likely to grow on water. If it grows large enough, it will produce large leaves under the surface instead. Echinodorus cordifolius is an easy and undemanding, excellent plant for beginners.
