Description

• Protect it from cold weather conditions and extreme sunlight. Place the Aglaonema plant at indirect natural light or some synthetic fluorescent light. The plant frequently shows the best color in medium or indirect light indoors. It needs watery well-drained soils but the overflow can be dangerous to this plant.
• Water Aglaonema frequently in summer and in winter watering should be moderate. In low light conditions like office, allow the soil to dry in the top 1 Inch width of soil between watering cycles. Avoid aerial watering. It will survive a few weeks without water if you’re away from home.
• It needs a very handful of fertilizer. Use liquid fertilizer throughout the growing season.
• Aglaonema is a slow-growing shrub hence will only need repotting every other year.
• Propagation is done by dividing the basal shoots during repotting.
