Succulent String of Banana

The String of Bananas is a part of the Asteraceae family and is characterized by shiny, banana-shaped leaves that grow on long, hanging stems. It makes an excellent hanging indoor plant or can be trained to grow upwards on a trellis or moss pole depending on the appearance you are going for. A string of bananas can also be grown successfully outdoors in succulent gardens, but they are not frost-tolerant so need areas that experience hot weather year-round.
